Brand New Website!

It's been several years since I updated my website. I made my old website using Dreamweaver about 9 years ago. I'm not a computer savvy and it was very complicated to make then and hard to change and update afterwards. I forgot how I did it all after a few years and wasn't able to add new works.

I have been looking for a portfoilo website for artists that is easy to manage with good design and affordability. And I found

It took a while to finish to set up new home. I was a mom of 2 year old, Nuri and pregnant for my 2nd child. It's only a few days away from the delivery due date!! Now it's done.

I hope my new website represents my work better.

It took several months to finish these two small drawings. I still have very little time to make art. My day is busy chasing around and feed Nuri, my 18 months old daughter. But I'm glad to see this small achievement.
I will have more time for art this fall since my mom will be visiting from Korea and will play with Nuri. Very excited!

Small drawings I found from the old folders

I'm organizing photos of my work to build a new websites. I found these small drawings that were forgotten for years. These were initiative ideas for larger works.

I didn't have much time to make art and post blogs since I have my daughter Nuri last year. These little drawings inspire me to keep my creativity alive.

The Line
Artist Reception: Friday, November 2, 5-8pm

Injoo Whang, Yellow Infinity, Ink and watercolor on paper

Reynolds Fine Art is pleased to present The Line, an exhibition that examines the purpose and life of drawing in relation to art making. This group exhibition will feature the work of twelve different national artists whose use of the medium in this context broadens the boundaries typically associated with its name.

Ranging from studies to full completion, all pieces are works of art. From realist to abstract expressionist, these drawings are evidence of the flexibility and transformative nature of drawing. Whether it be through the use of graphite, ink, metal point, pastel, or even embroidered thread, each artist in this exhibition has offered their interpretation of The Line in their own way.

The artists featured in this exhibition are Dennis Angel, Anna Held Audette, Cathi Bosco, Jane Catlin, Beverly Gardner, Robert Reynolds, Geoff Silvis, Rick Stevens, Daphne Taylor, Sandra Vlock, Susan Weinreich, and Injoo Whang.
